1370
Ma-ho-mo-sha [Maha Mokhsa], King of P'o-ni. A Chinese
mission commanded by Chang Ching Tze dispatched to P'o-ni
in 1370 (9th month, 3rd year fo
Hung-wa), found the king in a burned out capital with
just 1,000 inhabitants. He sent a tribute mission to the
Emperor of China in August 1371.
13xx - 13xx
Ma-na-je-sha-na-wang-sha [Maharaja Sarawangsa], King of
P'o-ni [Maharaja of Brunei]. m. Tz'u-shih-pa-ti
[... Sripati]. He had issue, at least four sons:
1)
Ma-hsieh-je-chia-na-nai [Maha Suriya
Jayakaranaya], King of P'o-ni [Maharaja of
Brunei] - see below.
13xx - 1408
Ma-hsieh-je-chia-na-nai (or Ma-na-je chia-na) [Maha
Suriya Jayakaranaya or Maharajakara], King of P'o-ni
[Maharaja of Brunei]. b. 1381, son of
Ma-na-je-sha-na-wang-sha, by his wife Tz'u-shih-pa-ti.
Despatched a mission to China in November 1405, which
requested an investment mission. The mission was sent out
by the Chinese Emperor under the command of Admiral
Cheng, 22nd December 1405. He led a tribute
mission to China, accompanied by his wife, children and
brothers, where he sought and received Chinese protection
against Majapahit. Received at the Feng-t'ien Hall of the
Chinese Imperial Court 9th September 1408.
Granted rank next to the highest ranking dukes. m.
T'a-hsi-hsieh [ Sri Suriya]. He d. at the
Imperial State Guesthouse, Nanking, 19th
October 1408 (bur. there according to Buddhist
rites, at the Shih-tzu Kang, outside the An-te Gate, 24th
October 1408, and granted the posthumous name Kung-shu),
having had issue, one son and two daughters:

Hsia-wang [Suriyawang], King of P'o-ni [Maharaja
of Brunei] - see below.
1408 - 14xx
Hsia-wang [Suriyawang], King of P'o-ni [Maharaja of
Brunei]. b. 1405, only son of
Ma-hsieh-je-chia-na-nai, King of P'o-ni, by his wife,
T'a-hsi-shieh. Succeeded on the death of his father, 19th
October 1408. Invested by the Emperor of China with a
cap, suits of clothes, belts, saddles, gold, silver,
brocades, cash, vessels and other regalia, 24th
October 1408. Reigned under the regency of his grand
uncle. He visited Nanking with his mother in September
1412 (9th Moon of the 10th
year of Yong Lo) and returned to P'o-ni in February
1413.
